Large Clock Movement Stand
This item is a pine movement stand that can be used for grand mother, grand father, large and small wall clocks, and clocks that are mounted to a seat board.
Even most cuckoo clocks will fit on this stand The height is 48 inches in height, to allow for long pendulum legnths. The width is 20 1/2 inches to accomodate a wide pendulum swing. The base is 18 inches wide, and uses half lap construction to prevent tilting and swaying, and includes 4 leveling feet. The movement mounting brackets are completely adjustable for movements of different sizes. The brackets are shaped like a H lying on its side, and slide between the 2 top rails, so you dont need 3 hands to put a clock movement on this stand. The stand comes unassembled, but all holes are predrilled, and all hardware is supplied. This stand will allow total visual access to the movement, to aid in the diagnosis of problems, or to check for proper operation after repairs. It is much easier to find a clock problem on a stand than in the case. Thanks for looking. Clock movement,weights,and pendulum are not included.
